Larry Levin brings a unique perspective and abilities to HFC.  He has worked in the photography industry for over 30 years and earned “Top Event Photographer” in Washington, DC in 2019.  Throughout his career he has been involved in both the business

and creative aspects of the profession.  He has had many roles that included management, organization leadership, facilitator and educator. 

 

As a photo agent he marketed services, as a photo editor he was part of the management team, and in the roles with             professional associations he was involved with leadership, planning and development.  As an educator and volunteer to many charitable groups, he understands the need to promote and share the knowledge gained from his many experiences.  Additionally, as an independent entrepreneur, the importance of financial stability and flexibility in the changing marketplace.  

                     

Since his first Cuba trip in 2002, Larry worked with Mr. Fernandez in the respectful restoration of the relationship between the two countries. This included numerous trips to Cuba under the people to people exchange programs, religious events, and assisted in the establishment of Best Buddies Chapters to Havana.  Additionally, he has continuously advised Mr. Fernandez regarding the Hope For Cuba Foundation mission. 

 

Larry brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the creative and business aspect of non-profit work. His ongoing advice and counsel will continue to help HFC achieve its objectives as well as strongly support its mission and vision.
